No More Phantom Vision: All-New Nike Phantom GT DF Boots Leaked

Earlier this month we reported about Nike's decision to discontinue both the Phantom Venom and Phantom Vision football boot silos from next season.

The all-new Nike Phantom GT will replace the two: it will be available both as low-cut and high-cut version. While we so far only saw the low-cut edition of the Nike Phantom GT cleats tested by professionals, the first pictures showing a takedown of the Phantom GT DF (Dynamic Fit) have been leaked via OFOBALL.

EXCLUSIVE: Only 3 Main Boot Silos From Summer 2020 - Nike To Also Discontinue Nike Phantom Vision Boots Silo

This picture shows the all-new DF (Dynamic Fit) Nike Phantom GT soccer boot (takedown).

The leaked Nike Phantom GT boots are dark blue with green and black details.

An abstract graphic appears all over the upper, while there's a green stripe on the outside carrying the Phantom GT logo alongside the "Engineered for Precision" tag. The Swooshes are black with green outlines.

We expect this leaked colorway to be released in between September and November 2020.

In terms of tech, the boots are practically identical to the low-cut version, with the main difference of course being the addition of the Dynamic Fit collar. It's a very similar situation to what we already have with the Mercurial Superfly and Vapor.

The Nike Phantom GT will feature Predator-like rubber elements and T90-esque off-center lacing - both current Venom and Vision players are set to wear them.

There will only be three different Nike boot silos from the start of the 20-21 season: Mercurial, Phantom GT and Tiempo.
