Paraguay to Sign Joma Kit Deal to Replace Adidas
Spanish brand Joma is set to replace Adidas as the kit maker of the Paraguay national team.
Robert Harrison, president of the Paraguayan Football Association, has confirmed that Adidas will no longer supply the Albirroja and that the federation are currently looking at alternatives.
"Adidas is withdrawing from the country, so we are looking at alternatives. We don't have any yet, we are analyzing the proposals for the new team's clothing," he said in a talk with Universon 970 AM and the channel SOMOS GEN.
As per a report by VERSUS, the brand that will replace Adidas is Joma. The kits are set to be produced locally in an alliance with a Paraguayan brand.
Contract terms are set to be as follows: roughly US$ 1 million per year for four years.
