West Ham Sleeve Sponsor Goes Bankrupt

West Ham United has lost lost its sleeve sponsor because of the Coronavirus crisis, it has been revealed. Basset & Gold, the club's sleeve sponsor since 2018, has gone bust - the investment company Basset & Gold went into administration on Wednesday amid the Covid-19 pandemic

West Ham Sponsor Basset & Gold Has Gone Into Administration

Basset & Gold, a financial services firm based in the heart of the City of London which offered investors fixed income returns that are generated by providing financing to marketplace lending platforms and UK based businesses, signed a two-year sponsorship deal with the club in 2018 which was due to run out at the end of this season.

West Ham has been paid in full for the deal which ran until the end of the season.

Interestingly, Basset & Gold are the third West Ham United sponsor to go bust over the past 12 years, following XL Holidays and also Alpari.

West Ham's deal with main sponsor Betway is worth around 10 million GBP / season.
