In an interview with newspaper L'Équipe, the president of the Girondins de Bordeaux spoke of the Bordeaux club's post-Covid 19 strategy. In addition to wanting to "strengthen the club's field of influence in the region", the Girondins' development strategy will involve increased international development. "To illustrate this strategy, we will soon present a new logo," said Frédéric Longuépé.
