Insane: Senegal & Hapoel Nir Ramat Logos Based On Stock Art Lion Head

In summer 2017, we took a closer look at the "The "Stolen" Crests of World Football". Now our follower Amin Sayoud made us aware that there are two rather new logos in the world of football that are only unique at first glance - those of Senegal and Hapoel Nir Ramat.

The Senegalese Football Federation is the governing body of football in Senegal. Hapoel Nir Ramat HaSharon Football Club is an Israeli football club playing in the Liga Leumit, in the Israeli second division. They are currently second.

Senegal & Hapoel Nir Ramat Logos Use Same Lion Head For Logo

Both the Senegal FA and the Hapoel Nir Ramat HaSharon Football Club logos have a lion head in their center. However, a closer look reveals that the lion head of both crests is identical - that is because the lion illustration is taken from a stock art lion head graphic.

Both crests combine the lion head with (likely) bespoke elements such as the team's colors, some more elements and their official names.

It is not the first time that logos were not created from scratch, but it is something we have not seen and expected for such rather big teams / nations.
