Barcelona and Beko Negotiate Reduced Deal, Brand Logo to No Longer Appear on Jersey Sleeve
Barcelona and appliance maker Beko are currently in talks to extend their sponsorship agreement, according to a report by Catalunya Radio (via @barcacentre).
The new deal would see the club collection between €10 and 12 million per year, a little over half of what they currently get - €19 million.
As part of this extension and due to the stark reduction in value, the logo of Beko would no longer appear on the left sleeve of the shirt. The company logo would however remain on the training shirts.
In case you missed it, the club and main sponsor Rakuten recently announced an extension of a similar style, which also saw the annual payment reduced to reflect the current situation.
