Besiktas To Sign New 5-Year Adidas Deal For Half The Money
Adidas and Beşiktaş are set to continue their kit maker partnership for five years until 2026, according to Turkish sports portal OrtaCizgi.com.
Beşiktaş To Receive Much Less Money From Adidas Than Before
Besiktas will receive 100 million TL (approx. 11 million euros) for this period - 2.5 million euros / year. For comparison, the German sporting goods manufacturer still paid ten million dollars (more than million euros / season ) for a two-year contract in 2019.
As reported by OrtaCizgi.com, the last contract details would be clarified, after which the official club statement on the deal should be made.
Besiktas will be the only big Turkish club sponsored by Adidas
From 2021, Besiktas will be the only club of the Turkish big clubs (Besiktas, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Trabzonspor) to be equipped by Adidas. Fenerbahce is set to sign a deal with Puma to replace Adidas.
