Pirelli Confirms Inter Milan Exit

Pirelli chief Marco Tronchetti Provera has confirmed that Pirelli will end its time as main sponsor on Inter's shirt this summer after 26 years.

The Pirelli logo has been featured on the front of the Inter shirt since 1995 when the tire maker replaced Italian food company Fiorucci. The latest deal between Inter and Pirelli was signed in February 2016, worth a basic sum of 10 million Euro / season with various success-dependent bonuses.

Pirelli Leaves Front Of Inter Kit After 26 Years

Inter chief officer Tronchetti Provera confirmed that Pirelli will end their Inter main sponsorship but that the parties will maintain a relationship of some kind.

“We will maintain a bond with Inter, we will no longer be the shirt sponsor but we will maintain a relationship,” he told Rai’s Gr Parlamento show ‘La Politica del Pallone’.

There is no info which brand will become the new Inter Milan main shirt sponsor from the 2021-2022 season. Inter owners Suning have big financial problems and want to sell the club.
