The red / black / solar red Adidas X Speedflow'Meteorite' boots have a stunning look in red, black and white. An electricity yellow is used for the inner part of the shoe.
The official color combo is "Red / Black / Solar Red".
If we look at the tech, the red / black / solar red Adidas X Speedflow football shoes were quite heavily updated to the Adidas X Ghosted, especially in the collar / ankle part.
“X GHOSTED was a major breakthrough for us in helping players unlock new levels of linear speed,” said Ben Herath, VP Design, adidas Football.
“But through our research when developing the next iteration of adidas’ fastest football boot, the team were led by this idea of merging the physical and mental. So, we’ve combined the very best in adidas performance technology with a deep understanding of the speed needs of the modern game – X Speedflow supports instant speed, radical agility and instinct with the aim of creating the space for players to reach a true state of ‘flow’”.

One main difference is the construction around the ankle and the tongue, which are both higher for a closer fit and therefore more lockdown and speed. Called Engineered Agility Frame, it is a lattice structure which wraps around the foot to keep it in place.
The boots are very different to he old, unpopular generation
A new Engineered Lightweight Primeknit upper provides an adaptive fit and boosts reaction speeds alongside the improved Primeknit Speed Collar technology.
The outsole also includes the evolved technology of the Carbitex Speedframe, which helps boost acceleration by increasing the amount of force pushed on to the ground when athletes start their sprints.

FIFA Denies Guillermo Ochoa 2026 World Cup Legacy Patch Over Appearance Rules
Guillermo Ochoa has been denied the chance to wear FIFA's new legacy patch at the 2026 World Cup. Despite being selected for six World Cup tournaments spanning from 2006 to 2026, the Mexican goalkeeper does not meet the strict criteria set by FIFA. The governing body requires players to have made on-pitch appearances in at least five different World Cups to qualify for the special badge.
Ochoa did not play any minutes during the 2006 and 2010 tournaments, meaning he has only registered on-pitch appearances in three World Cups prior to the 2026 edition. Because of this, FIFA officially refused to award him the patch. Other veterans playing in the tournament, such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric, Manuel Neuer, and Yuto Nagatomo, have received the legacy patch for meeting the five-tournament appearance threshold.
The Mexican Football Federation is reportedly planning to push for a reconsideration of the ruling. If Ochoa features in a match during the 2026 tournament, the federation intends to appeal FIFA's decision in hopes of securing the legacy patch for the veteran goalkeeper.
