Portugal Centenary Shirt Released

Update: Portugal's limited-edition Centenary shirt was officially launched today, retailing at €100 and limited to just 500 units.

Portugal's first-ever international was played away to Spain in Madrid on December 18th, 1921. It ended in a 3-1 win to hosts Spain. The Centenary jersey is black, inspired by the kit worn that day.

The black shirts were not chosen for a specific reason but rather were a loan from Casa Pia AC for the game.

Directly inspired by the jersey worn for the team's first-ever match, the Portugal Centenary shirt is closely based on it.

It's black with a white collar and large badge on the left chest. This badge comes with a small gold 1921-2021 inscription.

As expected by us, the Portugal Centenary shirt is another entry of the official "Portugal Legends" range, like the 1966 and 1959 shirts you can see below.

The Portugal Centenary jersey was launched on November 8th, 2021. Limited to just 500 units, it retails at €100 and is available to buy exclusively through the official team store.

Update (09/11/21): The Portugal Centenary shirts have all sold out.

Each shirt will be shipped in a special commemorative box, complete with a certificate of authenticity as well as an old-school football.
