Reason Not Known: Chelsea Do Not Wear FIFA Club World Cup Champions Badge in League Cup Final
Chelsea FC did not wear the gold FIFA Club World Cup badge in the League Cup final against Liverpool today. And it is not known why...
No EFL Rule For FIFA Club World Cup Badges?
Chelsea did just had the inscription of the match on their shirts. It is not known if the EFL did not allow Chelsea FC to wear it or if the club decided to not wear it.
In fact, we were unable to find a section in the EFL Carabao Cup Kit Rules about FIFA World Club Champions badges or other celebration shirt badges.
FC Bayern Munich, in contrast, did wear the gold FIFA Club World Cup badge in the DFB Pokal.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have reportedly been granted permission by the Premier League to wear the Club World Cup badge on their shirts for the remainder of the Premier League season.
Do you think EFL did not allow Chelsea to wear it? Comment below.
