Liverpool & Real Madrid Will NOT Wear 22-23 Kits in 2022 Champions League Final

Liverpool FC and Real Madrid will wear their 2021-2022 home kits in the UEFA Champions League final on 28 May 2022, it is confirmed by UEFA images.
Liverpool's 22-23 home kit was already released on 5 May 2022, while Real Madrid's 22-23 home kit is set for a release in late May/early June 2022.

Liverpool could debut the 22-23 home kit in the last Premier League match of the 21-22 Premier League season against Wolves on May 23, 2022. They did wear next season's shirt in the last Premier League match last season.

The kits in the final will surely feature some special inscription not seen in UEFA's images from May 6.
In UEFA's official jersey shoot for the UEFA Champions League final, Liverpool's 21-22 home kit is there next to Real Madrid's 21-22 home kit. This confirms that Liverpool will not wear their new 22-23 home kit.
Bayern wore next season's kit in 2020 and 2013
The last team to wear next season's kit in the Champions League final were Bayern Munich in 2020. The German Rekordmeister traditionally wear next season's kit in all matches after it was presented.

Alongside the second star above the crest, Spain officially unveiled a new 3D embossed World Champions badge during their recent 3-2 victory over England in the UEFA Nations League. This badge previously appeared on Spain's jersey after their 2026 FIFA World Cup triumph.
Compared to the heat-applied plastic version seen on Argentina's kits, the new badge from Cromotransfer offers a significantly more premium look, featuring an embossed surface and a multi-layered structure. Before that, Adidas has increasingly shifted to pre-applying tournament and champions badges directly in its manufacturing facilities.
However, this upgrade will be exclusive to the authentic player-version jerseys. The fan-version replica shirts will continue to feature the standard heat-transferred plastic badge.
