2022-23 Bundesliga Kit Battle - Nike Clear Leader, Big Brand Diversity
All teams of the 2022-2023 German 1. Bundesliga season have released their new home kits, and many teams have even completed their set for the next campaign. We take a look at the battle of brands in the 2022-2023 Bundesliga season, in cooperation with Football Kit Archive.
Bundesliga 2022-23 Kit Makers
Nike make the kits for six teams (33,33%) in the 2022-2023 season, clearly leading ahead of Adidas (3 teams) and Puma (2).
Castore and Mizuno make their debut in Germany
Seven teams are not supplied by Adidas, Nike, or Puma, and all of them have a different kit manufacturer. The 2022-2023 season sees the debut of two manufacturers - Castore (Bayer Leverkusen) and Mizuno (Bochum).
In total, 10 brands make the kits for the 18 teams, compared to last season's eight. That's a much-welcomed brand diversity.
