Algeria to Leave Adidas After 8 Years - Adidas to Release Kits For 2 Matches
The Algerian national football team is set to leave Adidas for Puma, according to Algerian football channel DZfoot.
Algeria's kits had been made by Adidas for 8 years since 2014, when they replaced Puma.
Algeria Launch Tender For New Kit Maker
DZfoot say that the relationship between Adidas and Algeria is over at the end of 2022. Both parties have a contract until January 2023. Adidas are to be replaced after the Fédération Algérienne de Football (Algerian Football Federation - FAF) launched a tender for a new supplier.
Bidders have until September 30 to submit their bids to the FAF.
Adidas will still release a set of new Algeria kits. They were originally intended for the 2022 World Cup but Algeria failed to qualify. Algeria will wear them in two matches only.
