Exclusive: Manchester United (Still) Main Sponsor Minorly Update Logo, Unlikely to Ever Feature on a Man Utd Kit

Current Manchester United main sponsor TeamViewer have quietly updated their logo. Big thanks to Ian for making us aware.

It is unlikely that we will ever see the new TeamViewer logo on a Manchester United kit. TeamViewer and Manchester United mutually agreed that the club get a new main sponsor "as soon as possible", probably from the 2023-2024 season.

TeamViewer did not communicate the new logo yet

The new TeamViewer logo made its debut on the digital adboards at Old Trafford in the match against Notting Forest. While it has been also updated on Manchester United's website, the German company did not communicate the logo change yet. TeamViewer's website also features the old TeamViewer logo but their social media already use the new one.

TeamViewer 2023 Logo

The new TeamViewer 2023 logo most remarkably has thee main differences - a new typeface, new dimensions, and new colors.

First, the TeamViewer text now has the same height as the icon - it is not smaller anymore. Second, the font weight is now bold for all parts. Previously, the Viewer part was thinner. Third, navy is used instead of light blue.

TeamViewer also updated the Icon, but the changes are minimal here.

As already mentioned above, it is unlikely that TeamViewer will be on the front of Manchester United's 23-24 kits. It is also out of question that the logo could be updated for the 22-23 kits.

The new logo looks better for us

We have still imagined how the new TeamViewer logo would look on a possible design of the Manchester United 23-24 home kit. For us, it sure looks better than the old one (without the icon it would look the best on a shirt), even though it could be bigger due to all parts having the same height.
