Tennis Star Tsitsipas Wears Adidas 2022 World Cup Kits at Australia Open

Tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas was spotted rocking Japan Away World Cup 2022 kit during his practice session at Australia Open.

Being an Adidas-sponsored athlete is not uncommon to wear another product from the sporting apparel as Japan's World Cup kit is also made by the company.

Just as we previously covered, the Japan 2022 World Cup away kit is certainly an exciting shirt to wear because of its modern vibe.

However, Tsitipas also has other reasons why he decided to don the Blue Samurai's away kit during his practice session.

"The jersey represents the connection between sport and the ancient warrior spirit of Japan. A deep cultural heritage of honor, perseverance, and excellence," Tsitsipas wrote on his Twitter account.

"It also symbolizes the connection between the modern and ancient, the beauty of tradition, and the power of the present."

The Greek tennis star also gave his support to the Japan national team following their World Cup exit back then.

Aside from supporting the Blue Samurai, Tsitsipas has also shown his affection and support for Argentina national team.

The 24-year-old supported the Albiceleste during their World Cup final match against France last month. Tsitsipas admits that he wanted Argentina to win the World Cup because of his admiration for Lionel Messi.
