The collar of the Olympique Lyon 2023-2024 home kit is designed like the collar of the chef jacket worn by Bocuse, who was a key figure in the creation of French nouvelle cuisine. He earned a coveted third Michelin star in 1965 and was named Chef of the Century by the prominent Gault Millau restaurant guide in 1987.
Indeed, the Parc OL stadium has also been undergoing a makeover recently to pay homage to Paul Bocuse. The portrait of Paul Bocuse has appeared on the esplanade of the stadium, and on April 23, the stadium will pay tribute to the famous chef during the home game against Marseille.
