For this season, commemorating the 120th anniversary of Benfica, the design inspiration is the global dimension of Benfica, with 5 different colored stripes, representing the 5 continents, being a tribute to the millions of Benfica supporters.

In terms of the template, Benfica's new away jersey has all the typical 2022 World Cup panels but without the three tricolored stripes on the shoulders - they are simply white.
