According to Adidas, the "eye-catching design of this jersey features an abstract, modern take on a houndstooth pattern". A Houndstooth pattern is a duotone textile pattern characterized by broken checks or abstract four-pointed shapes, traditionally in black and white or such contrasting dark and light pattern.
The colors of the Adidas Real Madrid 2023-2024 pre-match football shirt are inspired by the home kit (Navy and Preloved Yellow) as well as the away and training shirts (purple).
