Banned From 2026, But at Least 7 Premier League Teams Have Betting Main Kit Sponsor in 23-24 Season
In April 2023, Premier League have decided to ban betting front-of-shirt sponsors from 2026. However, this does not stop teams to get in the maximum money from betting main sponsors before the ban comes into effect.
Betting Sponsors in 23-24 Premier League Season
Seven Premier League teams are having betting main kit sponsors in the 23-24 season. In addition, all Premier League teams have betting partners.
Interestingly, no company is on the front of two teams in the 23-24 Premier League season. The betting sponsors are also mainly "unknown" betting companies, with the exception of Betway x West Ham.
Chelsea were rumored to sign with Stake, Nottingham have no sponsor yet.
However, change is on the horizon, but only a light one. Premier League clubs have agreed to ban match-day front-of-shirt sponsorship deals with gambling companies from the summer of 2026, following similar bans in Serie A and La Liga.
Despite this, some feel that the ban doesn't go far enough, and that there should be a complete prohibition on gambling sponsorship in football. Currently, Chelsea, Nottingham, and Sheffield United are the only Premier League teams without a main sponsor, and could still sign with a betting company.

Portuguesa 2026 Third Kit Released - Tribute to Portugal Ahead of 2026 World Cup
Brazilian club Associação Portuguesa de Desportos, commonly known as Portuguesa, has officially launched its new third kit for the 2026 season. Produced by technical sponsor Joma, the new uniform pays direct homage to the Portuguese national team, celebrating the club's deep historical roots as Portugal prepares to compete in the upcoming 2026 World Cup.
The new Portuguesa 2026 third jersey closely mirrors the classic look of the Portuguese national team, featuring a vibrant crimson red base enhanced by subtle jacquard detailing that provides a sense of movement to the fabric. The shirt is structured with a classic polo collar adorned with red and white edging and a green front point insert. The sleeves remain red with contrasting green underarm panels, while the cuffs match the collar's red and white trim.
Further solidifying the international tribute, the official coat of arms of Portugal is prominently displayed on the nape of the neck above the white player numbering. The alternative uniform is completed by green shorts and red socks, finalizing the classic Portuguese color scheme.
The kit is set to make its on-pitch debut this Saturday, May 16th, in a match against Água Santa.
