Nike x Patta Barcelona Air Max TN Sneakers + Kit

Update: No other than FC Barcelona legend Carles Puyol has teased the upcoming Nike x Patta x FC Barcelona 2023-24 collection. He posted two pictures of himself wearing the Nike x Patta Barcelona Air Max TN sneakers. The sneakers and the jersey are expected to be launched soon.

FC Barcelona 125th Anniversary Special-Edition Kit

The FC Barcelona 125th anniversary special edition jersey has the main color black combined with the Blaugrana's signature blue and red human anatomy motifs. However, putting this pattern on the Barcelona 125th anniversary special edition shirt is quite weird.

Streetwear brand Patta have collaborated with Nike on a special FC Barcelona pair of TN Air Max Plus trainers.

Nike x Patta Barcelona Air Max TNs

The latest piece of collaborative football merchandise to hit our timelines concerns Barcelona, their longtime technical sponsor Nike, and Dutch streetwear brand Patta. Together, they have released a pair of Blaugrana Air Max TNs. The shoe is one of Nike's most recognisable silhouettes and has ammassed a cult following over the years. Nike have released quite a few football-themed pairs of various Air Max models, but this is the first Barcelona edition.

The upper fades from blue to red, with the customary cage-like structure coloured black. A double swoosh sits on both the outstep and the instep. Patta's logo is present on the tongue, with the Barca crest on the lace tag. All parties are referenced on the insole, and the outsole has some striking orange colouring. The tips of the laces are modeled aftered the Senyera flag, a nice finishing touch.

Tottenham Announces Expanded Partnership with HPE

Tottenham Hotspur and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) have officially announced an expansion of their long-standing technology partnership. Under the agreement, HPE serves as the club's Official Hybrid Cloud and IT Enterprise Networking Partner, driving an extensive modernization of the digital infrastructure that powers Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The expanded collaboration builds upon a relationship that began during the construction of the stadium in 2017. Through the upgraded setup, HPE will deploy its GreenLake hybrid cloud platform alongside next-generation ProLiant servers and Alletra storage systems. The project consolidates the venue's IT operations from multiple distributed setups into two core environments, creating a more agile and resilient foundation for AI-driven stadium management and future deployments like Wi-Fi 7.

The upgraded technology directly supports both behind-the-scenes operations and fan-facing matchday systems. Key areas powered by the infrastructure include high-speed ticketless entry, frictionless cashless payments, digital wayfinding, and real-time crowd analytics, ensuring seamless service across the 60,000-plus capacity venue while incorporating sustainable equipment renewal initiatives.

What If Adidas Made Barcelona Kits?

Kit collector and insider @memorabilia1899 has shared an intriguing concept imagining how FC Barcelona would look if Adidas were the club's technical sponsor. Despite Barcelona having a long-term partnership with Nike extended through 2038, the fantasy of the German sportswear giant designing the Blaugrana's kits continues to spark conversation among football shirt enthusiasts.

The Adidas Barcelona concept leans heavily into retro aesthetics, combining classic vertical red and blue stripes with the iconic Trefoil logo on the chest. A dark blue polo collar, styled with 'BARÇA 1899' detailing, is paired with gold-orange accents seen across the Three Stripes on the shoulders and the centered Spotify sponsor logo. The full look is completed by navy blue shorts and matching socks.

Would you like to see Adidas manufacture Barcelona kits in the future, or does Nike remain the perfect fit for the Catalan giants?

VfL Osnabrück 26-27 Special DFB-Pokal Kit Released - Worn Against Bayern Munich

German club VfL Osnabrück have unveiled a special kit for their DFB-Pokal first-round clash against FC Bayern Munich. Manufactured by Capelli Sport, the one-off jersey pays homage to one of the biggest cup upsets in German football history, when Osnabrück defeated Bayern 5-4 at the Olympiastadion in Munich on September 23, 1978.

The Osnabrück 26-27 DFB-Pokal special shirt closely mirrors the clean aesthetic worn during that historic 1978 triumph. Predominantly white, it features a bold retro polo collar and matching sleeve cuffs in Osnabrück's signature purple.

Completing the look, the special edition kit is paired with matching white shorts and socks accented by purple detailing. The kit will be worn exclusively during the home cup tie against Bayern Munich at the Bremer Brücke and is available through the club's official retail channels.
