UEFA Neglects Own Kit Regulations
When it comes to Kit Regulations, UEFA usually doesn't know any fun and is stricter than most leagues. However, now it appears that UEFA has neglected its own kit regulations.
Norway Allowed to Wear Two-Colored Numbers, Despite Ban in UEFA Equipment Regulations
The Norwegian National Women's team debuted the new Nike 2024 home kit in the 2025 Women's Euro qualifiers. Despite UEFA's official equipment regulations stipulating that numbers must be of a single color, the team was allowed to wear two-colored numbers.
UEFA is usually known for strictly enforcing its regulations, which is evident in its handling of the Champions League. Inter Milan had to modify its kit design multiple times due to the patterns on it. Similarly, Manchester United had to make changes to its sponsor logo, as it was slightly too large for UEFA competitions, and the club had to resize it to comply with the regulations.

The Nike Norway 2024 kit features a unique font design inspired by Runen, a letter in a set of related alphabets native to the Germanic peoples. While the font has an extraordinary appearance, it is also challenging to read. However, there is no rule that obliges numbers to be easily readable.
