- New Logo Leaked: A logo believed to be Marseille's new design has been shared, although its authenticity is uncertain as the trademark was registered in May 2025 by an entity not affiliated with OM or based in Marseille.
- Logo Redesign Consideration: Olympique de Marseille is reportedly considering a new logo, led by club president Pablo Longoria and advisor Fabrizio Ravanelli, potentially marking the first change since 2004.
- Historical Logo Changes: Since its founding in 1899, OM has modified its logo twelve times, and the potential redesign aims to blend historical respect with a modern touch.
Update: According to a leak from October 2024 by L'Équipe, Marseille is set to unveil a new logo. And now, @GlorieuxTonio has shared a logo that is believed to be the club's new design.
However, what's quite strange is that this trademark was registered in May 2025 - not by OM, nor by a company based in Marseille.
It still hasn’t been confirmed whether this is Marseille’s new logo. But if it turns out to be true, it will definitely spark major controversy.
According to L'Équipe (paywall), Olympique de Marseille (OM) may soon embark on a redesign of its iconic crest.
Update Extremely Likely: Olympique de Marseille Considering New Logo
The current Olympique Marseille logo was introduced 20 years ago, in 2004. The club's president, Pablo Longoria, in collaboration with his adviser Fabrizio Ravanelli, is reportedly spearheading the project.
The potential change comes at a time when many clubs have opted for minimalist, streamlined logos, often losing some of their traditional essence. OM's leadership, however, is reported to be digging deep into the club's archives to find inspiration, aiming to create a new logo that respects its history while bringing a modern twist.
OM has altered its logo twelve times since its founding in 1899.
