Fluminense Eager to End Umbro Partnership as Puma Negotiations Begin

According to @jornadakto1902 via @FluResenha, the club is likely not to renew its contract with Umbro. Instead, the Rio de Janeiro-based side is in early-stage negotiations with German sportswear brand Puma to become its new technical sponsor.

Fluminense has been partnered with British brand Umbro since 2020, following previous deals with Under Armour (2017-2019) and a long 19-year relationship with Adidas (1996-2015).

The iconic tricolor (green, white, and maroon) designs have been a constant throughout Fluminense's kit history, with Umbro generally respecting the club's traditional aesthetic while introducing modern elements.
