Update: Footy Headlines has received information that Brazil’s 2026 away kit is inspired by buring embers. This means it would make perfect sense if the uniform had kept the original planned red tones. Therefore, it’s highly likely that the design itself remains the same as the original concept, with only the color scheme changed - from red to blue.
After the strong negative reaction, the colors of the Brazil kit were changed from blue to red. However, the ember-inspired pattern has been retained, preserving the essence of the original design, as there wasn’t enough time to come up with an entirely new concept.
