Birmingham City Wore Wrong Patch In Carabao Cup
Recently, Birmingham City headed out for their Carabao Cup tie against Brentford in a shirt with EFL sleeve patch.
Though the competition's regulations require teams to use correct sleeve patches, cases like these are often considered understandable. The likely reason for Birmingham's incident was that their kitmen faced logistical problems and did not have emergency backup in time.
This issue also means the Blues will not get to wear the Carabao Cup patch any single time this season, as they suffered a heavy 1-6 defeat to Brentford and are therefore eliminated.
