Adidas Now Outfits 22 UEFA Nations, But Massive Changes Are Ahead
- Adidas Dominance: Adidas currently outfits 22 of the 52 UEFA national teams, a surge due to taking over the UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme.
- Upcoming Additions: Turkey, Poland, and Croatia are set to join Adidas's UEFA national team roster, expanding their presence.
- Significant Losses: Wales will switch to Sudu, and Germany, a long-time partner, will join Nike in 2027, impacting Adidas's lineup.
We have a major overview of the European international kit landscape. Following Friday's UEFA deal, Adidas now makes kits for an impressive 22 of the 52 UEFA national teams.

From 2027 (Germany & Wales to Leave, Poland, Turkey & Croatia to Join).
This dominance of Adidas UEFA national teams is perfectly visualized in our map graphic. The sudden surge in the total number of Adidas UEFA national teams is directly linked to the brand taking over the UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme from Erreà. Through this initiative, kits have just been introduced for Andorra, Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Malta, and San Marino (Belarus not yet).
While the brand currently controls the European kit market, the exact lineup of Adidas UEFA national teams is set to experience a massive shake-up over the coming years. The impressive roster of Adidas UEFA national teams will soon see some high-profile additions, as both Turkey and Poland are reportedly set to join the brand. Furthermore, it is already confirmed that Croatia will officially become one of the new Adidas UEFA national teams following the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup.
However, the expanding list of Adidas UEFA national teams will also suffer some significant losses. Wales will be leaving the brand to sign a new deal with Sudu. Most notably, the historic flagship member of all Adidas UEFA national teams, Germany, will famously end its long-standing partnership to join Nike at the start of 2027.
