- Historic Design Pool: Adidas has an extensive catalog of historic Schalke designs from their 48-year sponsorship between 1970 and 2018, with the 1990s potentially inspiring a reproduction of the iconic "Eurofighters" UEFA Cup-winning kit from 1997.
Update - Sunday, June 14, 2026: Adidas will re-release the Schalke 1997 home kit. The kit was worn in the 1996-97 & 1997-98 seasons with different sponsors - Kärcher and Veltins.
