Unique Look: Inter Milan Wear Sponsorless 26-27 Third Kit
- Sponsorless Kit Debut: Inter Milan's 2026-27 third kit made its European debut against Feyenoord, notably appearing without its main sponsor, Betsson.sport.
- Reason for Sponsor Removal: The absence of the main sponsor was mandated by strict Dutch advertising legislation that bans sports betting and gambling sponsorships, in compliance with local regulations and UEFA guidelines.
- Unique Kit Design Elements: The sponsorless kit featured a clean anthracite design inspired by Inter's 1998-99 Nike debut, a bespoke retro-inspired cup font by Nike in Speed Yellow, and alternative blue shorts and socks due to UEFA kit rules.
Update: Inter Milan showcased a remarkably distinctive look on the pitch during their UEFA Champions League clash away to Feyenoord at De Kuip in Rotterdam. Making its European debut this season, the Nerazzurri's 2026-27 third kit appeared with a whole host of notable modifications that immediately caught the attention of shirt enthusiasts.
Inter Milan will look a little bit different than what we have seen so far for their UEFA Champions League away encounter against Feyenoord in Rotterdam.
Inter Milan Wear Sponsorless 26-27 Third Kit
The absence of regular main sponsor Betsson.sport is due to strict Dutch advertising legislation that bans sports betting and gambling sponsorships. In compliance with local regulations and UEFA guidelines, the logo had to be omitted from the front of the shirt. The clean chest puts the full focus on the anthracite design, which draws heavy inspiration from Inter's classic 1998-99 Nike debut campaign.
Nike also created a dedicated cup font specifically for Inter's European campaign. Distinct from the standard Serie A league font, this bespoke lettering and numbering features a retro-inspired blocky style in Speed Yellow, outlined in blue with the Inter crest stamped at the base of the numbers.
It marks the second time this Champions League campaign that the Italian champions have taken the field sponsorless, having previously removed the logo during their trip to face Real Madrid.
Adding to the unique appearance, due to UEFA kit rules and the clash with Feyenoord's black shorts and socks, Inter will also don alternative blue shorts and socks.
