The gold Adidas Adizero IV Lionel Messi Boot comes with a really unique upper design. The synthetic upper, designed for lightweight and speed, features some special text on it, part of the Somos Team Messi campaign (We are Team Messi).

The outsole and the studs of the new Messi Boot are gold with black details. On the heel of the gold Lionel Messi Boot features the Messi logo.

On the inner sole of the new gold Lionel Messi Boot is the lettering "más que un botín" (More than a boot) with the Blaugrana colors, a modified version of the famous FC Barcelona slogan Més que un club (More than a club).

Lionel Messi, who was among the three Ballon d'Or finalists and won the 2014 World Cup Golden Ball, will wear the gold Adidas Adizero Boot in La Liga matches from August 2014, the start of the 2014-15 season.
