FC Barcelona Unveils Special Jersey to Honor Cruyff in El Clásico

In order to commemorate the late Johan Cruyff, former player, coach and quite possibly the most important person in club history, FC Barcelona will don a special "Gràcies Johan" (Thank you Johan) inscription on the shirts in Saturday's El Clásico.

This is a close-up of the Barcelona 15-16 shirt as set to be worn against Real Madrid at Camp Nou.

Placed between the Nike and FC Barcelona logos, the "Gràcies Johan" inscription replaces the golden FIFA Club World Cup Winner's badge.

Cruyff passed away on March 24 and was also honored with memorial spaces by both Ajax and Barcelona, his most important former clubs. Before the Barcelona v Real Madrid match on Saturday, a mosaic will be displayed by the supporters at Camp Nou, also in support of Cruyff.
