New Atlético Madrid 16-17 Font Revealed

Atlético Madrid has unveiled a new typeface to be used for player names and numbers on the back of its new home and away kits, both of which were launched earlier this week.

Compared to last season's comic-esque model, the new Atlético typeface is much more serious and - frankly put - simply better looking.

For home games, it returns to a blue color as the Atlético home jersey now features stripes on the back again. A white outline is added for improved readability, while the Atlético badge is placed at the bottom. On the away shirt, the new typeface will be used in gold with black detailing.
