By switching to the eye-catching Nike Mercurial Superfly V cleats from the Nike Elite Pack, Ronaldo becomes one of just eleven high-profile players to wear boots from the collection. He joins the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Eden Hazard and Raphael Varane.
The Nike Mercurial Superfly V boots from the Elite Pack combine a gradient of two greys with striking green detailing, used for the sole plate, the Swoosh outline and the trademark 'speed-rib' structure on the upper.
Still recovering from the knee injury sustained in the Euro 2016 final, Ronaldo is expected to make his debut in one of the first rounds of La Liga and will likely wear the Elite Pack boots for the occasion.
