Launched ahead of the knockout stage of the 2006 World Cup in Germany, the golden Nike Air Legend R10 Ronaldinho Boots are based on the Nike Air Legend Cleats, with only a few customizations for Ronaldinho. First, there's Ronaldinho's initial R on the iconic tongue instead of the regular version's Swoosh, and second, the heel of the gold Nike Air Legend R10 Football Boots showed the Brazil national team's 5 stars.

The Nike Air Legend R10 football boots feature a soft Kangaroo leather upper. The cleats have a fiber-glass outer-sole with Air Zoom-technology to be shock-absorbent without compromising on the flexibility.

Assou-Ekotto also laced up in the rare black and golden Nike Air Legend R10 soccer cleats this season. Last season, he regularly played with classic Adidas Predator, but now the Nike Air Legend seems to be his boot of choice.
