Premier League Referee Shows Off Nike Flyknit Ultra Boots

English Premier League this weekend supports the #RainbowLaces campaign, which aims to promote the acceptance of the LGBT community. However, one referee even stood out from the others with rainbow laces wearing one of the most cutting-edge football boots on the market.

While referees are rather known for wearing traditional boots such as the Nike Premier or the Adidas Copa Mundial Kevin Friend opted for the cutting-edge Nike Flyknit Ultra soccer boot, Nike's most advanced football boot available currently. Just as a lot of other players and referees, he also used rainbow laces to support the #RainbowLaces campaign.

In fact, it was not the first time that Kevin Friend sported Nike Flyknit Ultra soccer cleats as he already laced up in the completely blackout Nike Flyknit Stealth football boots in early October, just a few days after their official launch.
