Castore in Talks to Become San Lorenzo Kit Maker

San Lorenzo only recently partnered with Argentine brand Atomik at the start of 2025, bringing an end to their decade-long relationship with Nike. The existing agreement between the Ciclón and Atomik is officially slated to run until the end of 2028, but the club's board is already exploring alternative options.

Founded in the United Kingdom, Castore has rapidly built an extensive football portfolio in Europe that currently includes Everton, Athletic Club, Feyenoord, and Burnley. Securing a deal with San Lorenzo would represent a major step into the South American market for the British sportswear manufacturer.

The prospect of a switch has sparked mixed reactions among San Lorenzo supporters. While some welcome the potential return to an internationally recognized label with greater global distribution than domestic brand Atomik, others remain cautious due to Castore's past supply-chain issues, which previously contributed to early contract terminations with European sides such as Sevilla and Bayer Leverkusen.

With negotiations in their early stages, neither San Lorenzo nor Castore has released an official statement. Any potential agreement would also require the club to resolve the remaining years on their active contract with Atomik.
