Toni Kroos Trains in New?, Another Pair of Adidas 11pro 2014 Boots
Toni Kroos and his boots have been one of the talking points on this site for some time. Kroos has been wearing white and blue 11pro boots ever since they were released in early 2014, that's four and a half years - during this time Adidas killed off the 11pro, as well as the Predator, started the Ace only to discontinue it and bring back the Predator. And Kroos is still with the 11pro.
Now, the Real Madrid and Germany superstar has decided to give them up for charity - or is it just one of many pairs? The iconic 11pro boots worn by him in the Champions League final can be bought in an auction until 13 June - the highest bid at the moment stands well above €12k already.
As per the description and images, the boots come with "visible signs of wear and tear" and are "partly cracked". Kroos signed both shoes and also wrote the match details on them. He also included a match-prepared and signed jersey, also from the CL Final.
All proceeds will go to the Toni Kroos foundation which "fulfill the wishes of seriously ill children and support families financially in their difficult situation."
Let's hear your thoughts in the comments below. Do you think Kroos will ever give up the 11pro and switch to a more modern silo?
