Not Happy With Their Adidas Kits - Betis Announce Kappa Kit Deal

Confirming previous rumors, Real Betis Balompié and Kappa announced the signing of a new sponsorship contract. The Italian brand becomes technical sponsor and main partner of the Green and White institution for the next four years.

Kappa Signs Four-Year Partnership With Real Betis

Kappa replaces Adidas two years ahead of schedule. It is reported that the club was not happy with the standard jerseys they received from the Three Stripes and therefore left Adidas preliminary.

The relationship of Kappa and Betis goes back to the 1995-1996 season and went on until the 2008-2009 season. A spell that comprehends some of the best years for Real Betis: Copa del Rey runner-up in 1997 and champion in 2005, and playing in the UEFA Champions League the playing in the UEFA Champions League the following year.

Betis said that Kappa will release "specific collections specifically thought for the fans. This customized option is a real opportunity for Real Betis to develop their merchandising activities and increase their presence in the European market."

We want to keep growing together. We are also going to enter new distribution and sale channels. We believe this is going to be very productive for both parties.

We give a great importance to be back with Betis nine years later.
