Nike AS Roma 19-20 Home Kit Released

The Nike AS Roma 19-20 home kit was launched this morning. Qatar Airways continue as main sponsor on the Roma 2019-2020 home jersey, in a deal that will run until the end of the 20-21 season.

This is the Nike AS Roma 2019-2020 home shirt.

The Roma 2019-20 home shirt has a slightly different base color than this season, and once again combines it with yellow.

Based on the new Nike template, the collar of the Roma 2019-2020 kit is yellow with a lightning print, a detail that is mirrored by the sleeve cuffs. This is inspired by Roman iconography and is repeated by the inner neck pride graphic.

“Roman mythology and its influence on Roman identity played a huge part in the concept. This year, Jupiter was our focus, and the lightning bolt was an obvious and powerful symbol to use,” explains Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director.

The shorts of the Roma 2019-2020 home kit are white; the socks are red with a yellow lightning bolt.

Font

The font of the Roma 2019-20 home shirt is also exceptional, drawing inspiration from the 'bolt' design found on the neck and sleeves of the shirt.
