Adidas 2018 Men's vs 2019 Women's World Cup Kits

Adidas today released their new kits for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, exclusively designed for the Three Stripes' sponsored nations Germany, Sweden and Spain. Both the Men's and Women's World Cup kits by Adidas draw inspiration from classic jerseys of each nation - we compare them.

Adidas Men's vs Women's World Cup Jerseys

Germany

Home

The Men's as well as the Women's Adidas Germany home kits are inspired by the Germany 1990 World Cup kit - the colorful, 'Glitch' version of the Women's design looks better in our opinion.

Away

For the away, the Men's jersey looks much better than the template Women's Tiro 19 kit in Wine Red. We would have liked to see the Wine Red Women's kit with the pattern on the Men's jersey.

Spain

Home

Both the Men's and Women's Adidas Spain kits are inspired by the country's 1994 World Cup kit - We favor the closer remake of the Men's kit.

Scotland

In contrast to the Men's team, the Scotland Women's national team managed to qualify for the World Cup.

Home

Both received bespoke home kits from Adidas - we prefer the subtle EQT inspired Men's kit.

Away

Both Scotland away kits are based on templates - we don't like both.

Sweden

Home

The Sweden Men's and Women's home jerseys feature unique designs - The Men's kit is inspired by the 1988 and 1992 kits, while the Women's jersey is a modern interpretation of the 1994 jersey. We prefer the more classic approach of the Men's jersey, even though both kits are great.
