When Nike released the 2020 Japanese J League kits in January, people quickly noted that they did not feature bespoke designs but that the designs were taken from other team's 2020-2021 kits. Nike 2021 J League Kits To Feature Designs of RB Leipzig, Wolfsburg and Zenit Kits?

Let us begin with the most likely adoption. The Nike Kashima Antlers 2021 has a a subtle cross pattern across the front, which could be also used by Wolfsburg. Why? Since 2018, Wolfsburg's home jerseys are featuring a X on the front to honor the championship in 2009. Second, Wolfsburg's slogan is Work. Football. Passion. - this could well match the 11 lines of the design that represent the 11 players.

The second possible adoption is the design of the Nike Sanfrecce Hiroshima 2021 home kit, which could be very well used for RB Leipzig. It possible represents speed, one of Red Bull's DNA.

The third possible adoption is most uncertain. The design of the Urawa Red Diamonds 2021 home kit could be adopted from the Zenit 2020-21 home jersey.

Only time will tell whether Nike again used the designs of European clubs for the home kits of their three big Japanese teams.
