Wolfsburg Once Again Changes Volkswagen Logo
In late 2019, German car maker Volkswagen launched an all-new logo. The new Volkswagen logo has been featured on the shirts of Volkswagen's club VfL Wolfsburg since early 2019 - however, it has changed several times since then...
In Fall 2019, VfL Wolfsburg first swapped a temporary new Volkswagen logo for the official Volkswagen 2019 logo. VfL had worn the all-new VW logo before it was officially launched.
VfL Wolfsburg Updates VW Logo On Kit - Lighter Blue & Green Background
The most recent Volkswagen logo change was made in the summer break. Whereas the VfL Wolfsburg 20-21 home kit featured a navy VW logo with a white background in May 2020 (debuted against Bayern), the Wolfsburg 20-21 kit in the 2020-21 season is blue with a green background.
Wolfsburg wore the 'old' colorway in the last Bundesliga match of the 2019-20 season against Bayern
VfL Wolfsburg debuted the updated kit with the new logo in the UEFA Europa League 2019-20 match against FC Shakhtar Donetsk.
Oddly enough, Wolfsburg first sold the navy / white VW logo version, while now the green / white version is available in the club's stores.
