Dutch Ajax defender Donny Van De Beek is very close to officially join Manchester United. Now it has been revealed that Van Den Beek will wear a special number for Manchester United.
Donny Van Den Beek To Wear No. 34 Kit In Honor Of Ex-Ajax Teammate Abdelhak Nouri
Donny Van De Beek has reportedly asked for the the shirt No.34 in honor of his close friend and ex-Ajax teammate Abdelhak Nouri, who had to end his career at the age of 20 three years ago.
In July 2017, at age 20, during a pre-season friendly match, Nouri collapsed and suffered a cardiac arrhythmia attack, which left him with severe and permanent brain damage and unable to continue as a footballer. Nouri played for Ajax in the No.34 kit.
The Manchester United #34 shirt is currently not occupied.
