Endorsement Deal Surpassing Messi & CR7: Neymar Joins Puma - To Wear Puma King Boots

Update: According to several media reports that refer to Forbes Magazine, Neymar's Puma deal is worth £23 million / year. We were so far not able to find the original source for this number, would put Neymar well above Cristiano Ronaldo (£15 million from Nike) and Lionel Messi (£18 million from Adidas), on Forbes. Neymar's Nike deal was worth US$105m for 11 years (9.5 million USD / year). The length of the contract between Neymar and Puma is not known.
Neymar Puma Deal Worth 23 Million GBP / Year
Confirming previous rumors, Puma today have that they have signed a long-term partnership with Brazilian football player Neymar Jr. and NR Sports, the company which holds the image rights of the athlete - Neymar will wear Puma’s legendary Puma King football boot.
Previously, it ws expected that Neymar would wear the Puma Ultra soccer cleats.
Neymar Jr To Wear Puma KING Boots
Logically, Neymar Jr. will not only wear Puma boots on pitch, but will be a brand ambassador off-pitch, wearing Puma’s most important lifestyle, training, and sport-inspired footwear and apparel products.
"Neymar Jr. joining our Puma Family is fantastic”, said Bjørn Gulden, CEO of Puma. "He is one of the best players in the world and extremely influential for the global football and youth culture. We are very excited and look forward to working with him both on and off the pitch."
In a message to his fans on his social media channels entitled "The KING is Back”, Neymar Jr. spoke about the impact that football greats such as Pelé and Maradona have had on his life, and his decision to follow in their footsteps by partnering with Puma.
"I grew up watching videos of great football legends such as Pelé, Cruyff, Matthäus, Eusébio and Maradona” Neymar Jr. said. "These were the Kings of the pitch, the Kings of my sport. I wish to bring back the legacy that those athletes created on the pitch. They each played in Puma, and each of them created their magic in The King.”
He continued: "Every time I lace my boots, my King boots, I will do anything to achieve all of my dreams to honor my name and that of all those great ones who wore the King before me. This will be my Puma history. The King is back!”
Puma King Lazertouch Football Boots
The Puma King Lazertouch are Puma's first-ever soccer cleat to feature Puma's patented Lazertouch technology. The technology gives PUMA the possibility to emboss different specially crafted textures and/or graphics onto the upper of the boots. The Lazertouch technology uses lasers to engrave patterns, which are fused with the leather. For the Puma King Lazertouch, there’s a pattern applied onto selected striking zones.

Official images of the new Atlético Madrid 2026-27 third kit have been leaked by @KamilBerberler, offering a detailed and complete look at the upcoming strip crafted by Nike.
The Nike Atlético Madrid 26-27 third jersey is predominantly light grey, officially designated as 'Light Pumice', and accented with horizontal red and navy stripes across the chest, body, and sleeves. The shirt features a sophisticated navy polo collar with subtle red detailing, as well as a retro-styled Atlético de Madrid crest proudly placed on the left chest. The front of the jersey also carries the Riyadh Air sponsor logo.

Following the home kit 3 months ago, Bulgarian side Botev Plovdiv have officially released their new away kit for the upcoming 2026-27 season, made by Macron.
The design features a fresh sky blue base combined with subtle pinstripes across the shirt. The polo collar, sleeve cuffs and side seams are all in navy blue, matched with the brand logos and shirt number. The club crest uses an interesting monochrome colorway of navy and white, adding depths to the overall look.
