Premier League club Tottenham has announced their new sleeve sponsor, Cinch. The online car-selling platform becomes Tottenham's very first official sleeve partner. The new logo will be used from today, January 10, when Tottenham will wear it for the first time against lower-league side Marine A.F.C. in the FA Cup.

Tottenham Hotspur signs five-year, multi-million sleeve sponsor contract

No financial details of the agreement were announced, the only aspect of the deal that is known is the contract length of five years. It is obvious that it is a multi-million pound deal. Other 'big six' clubs receive figures around GBP 10 million every year for their sleeve sponsorships (e.g. Chelsea x Hyundai - GBP 50m - contract length 5 years).

This gives Cinch the opportunity to display their logo on the left sleeve of both the men's and women's team as well as featuring on the multi-tiered digital ribbon advertising system. There will also be marketing campaigns across social and digital platforms.

Cinch is not the first online car-selling company visible on a Premier League jersey. In fact, Aston Villa and Everton already signed main sponsorship deals with rival Cazoo before the start of this season.

Nick Hoyle, head of partnership development at Tottenham, said: “Cinch is such an innovative brand and their customer first approach is well aligned with our own commitment of delivering an unrivalled experience for our fans. We look forward to working with Cinch and introducing their brand to our supporters.”

Avril Palmer-Baunack, chairman of Constellation Automotive Group, which owns Cinch, added: “We’re delighted to have agreed this fantastic multi-year partnership with Tottenham Hotspur, which will support Cinch in its journey to become the brand of choice when it comes to buying a used car.”
