LEAKED: Puma 21-22 Alternative Kits to Feature Revolutionary Logo Style

Recent leaks of the AC Milan and Manchester City 2021-22 home kits have shown what some expected already.

Puma's revolutionary new logo style, on display in the brand's new collection of international away kits, will only make its way onto the away / third and not the home kits of the Puma-sponsored clubs next season. It's somewhat logical considering that it will only appear on the international away kits as well.

Talking about the new national team jerseys, Puma reasoned that the new logo alignment puts forward the notion that the jersey (and not the federation badge) symbolizes the national pride and identity of each nation. This way, Puma aimed to "elevate the identity and visualization of the country name and club colors".

Speaking to Todo Sobre Camisetas, they think that it's most likely that a similar logo alignment will be employed on the Puma 20-21 third kits for the brand's various clubs next season - but away kits are also an option. According to what they've heard it will be a similar but not identical style to the one used on the national team kits.

We believe that it would perhaps also be a fitting choice for the 2021-22 Puma third kits, which will follow a streamlined design language.

It is your crest that may change over the time, but it is your name that leaves a legacy

The motto of Puma's 21-22 3rd jerseys is the following - "It is your crest that may change over the time, but it is your name that leaves a legacy".

Influenced By Nike? LEAKED: Puma 21-22 Third Kit To Have Streamlined Designs + Leaked Colors

The club's 21-22 away kits, a number of which - at the least Marseille, Milan and PSV - will have a common theme in that they will be inspired by each respective club's foundation.

'Gold' AC Milan 21-22 Away Kit To Feature Unique City Maps Pattern

For the 2021 national team away kits, Puma opted for a bold new look. And although the alignment differs from team to team, some features remain the same, for example, the placement of the country name centered on the chest.

Italy's kit boasts a unique logo placement above the country name, more similar to sponsorship or collaboration announcements than what we're used to with football shirts. And Austria's does not even feature any federation logo on the front.

Template-wise, the new Puma 21-22 Italy kit is based on the brand's new main template, the Puma teamULTIMATE teamwear shirt.
