As things stand, there are three brands that are poised to secure a deal with Lazio after the contract between the club and Macron expires.

Initially, it was Castore that seemed to be the favourite. The England-based sportswear company only emerge recently as they secured Wolves from Adidas. As they are growing and trying to expand to Europe, reports have floated that Castore are going to add Aston Villa, Bayer Leverkusen, and Sevilla to their portfolio.

However, Mizuno are reported now to be the favorite contender. Like Castore, Mizuno is trying to make their way to Europe. Unlike the former, the Japanese brand has been to the Serie A before under a short-lived time with Fiorentina in the 2001-02 season.

In current time, Mizuno are already present in Italy, although their sponsorship is with relatively small clubs in Serie B and C such as Cittadella, Cesena and Sudtirol. Securing Lazio would definitely be a huge boost to the brand's image in Europe.

Another competitor that Mizuno have to face is Kappa, however, not much has been reported so far regarding the Italian sportswear progress in securing Lazio.
