- Font Continuity: Real Madrid is using the same Y-3 typeface for their 2023-2024 kits as they did in 2022.
- Unique Design: The Y-3 typeface is a bespoke, hand-painted design created by Yohji Yamamoto for the Real Madrid 120th anniversary kit.
- Retail Cost: The Y-3 font adds 10 Euros to the price on Adidas' website but costs 20 euros on Real Madrid's website.

Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto has created a bespoke typeface for the Adidas Y-3 x Real Madrid 120th anniversary kit.
Real Madrid will certainly not use the typeface in today's El Clásico against Barcelona, as La Liga requires teams to use a streamlined kit font.

The Y-3 Real Madrid typeface has been created by hand, resulting in a unique “hand painted” look.
Of course, the “hand painted” style has been digitized, and so every number and letter is identical on the final product.
