Real Madrid Sign Deal With Luxury Brand Zegna

Real Madrid have signed a deal with Italian fashion brand Zegna to become the club's official luxury travelwear partner.

Italian brand Zegna was founded in 1910 and is recognised internationally as a leader in luxury menswear. The deal was announced earlier this week and will see both the football and basketball teams of Real Madrid kitted out by Zegna for travel to and from games and other occasions, with a particular focus on Champions League games.

Real Madrid will reveal their new Zegna wardrobe on the 30th of September in Madrid, and a selection of pieces will be available in some of Zegna's stores worldwide. Although these types of travel wear partnerships have been around for years, they are gaining a higher profile as fashion brands become more aware of the level of publicity and exposure that comes with being associated with top football teams.

Earlier this year, Roma signed a similar deal with Fendi and it was reported that AC Milan are set to team up with Off-White for their own travel wardrobe. Madrid themselves were previously suited and booted by Hugo Boss.
