Lionel Messi has been named the FIFA player of the year yesterday, after winning the World Cup with Argentina in December 2022. Messi scored two goals in the World Cup final, which Argentina won on penalties against France. However, Adidas have yet to unveil a special edition boot to celebrate Messi's achievement. But will they even do so?
Two trophies for the same? FIFA and France Football split in 2016
Since 2016 and the split between FIFA and soccer publication France Football, there are two major individual awards ceremonies every year. In 2022, the situation is bad.
The 2022 Ballon d'Or award was given to Benzema in October 2022, ahead of the 2022 World Cup (Champions League triumph of Madrid), while The Best award was given to Messi in February 2023, after the 2022 World Cup (World Cup triumph with Argentina). Both winners were deserved ones for the majority of people.

In the past, Adidas have created one-off boots to celebrate Ballon d'Or wins, but not for other individual awards like FIFA The Best.
Adidas only shared pictures of Messi receiving the trophy, and we have no info about the special edition boots for Messi's 2023 The Best title.
Adidas released special-edition football boots on the morning after Benzema was awarded the 2022 Ballon d'Or in November 2022. So as nothing came from Adidas, it seems unlikely that the Three Stripes brand have something in the pipeline.
